History of Angthong HillsAngthong Hills is situated above the village of Bang Po on the northern coast of the idyllic tropical island of Koh Samui. On June 2nd 2004 a 35 rai plot of heavily forested hillside sea view land was acquired and with a great amount of hard work and vision, Angthong Hills was established. Since then there have been two subdivisions to the land and 28 villa plots were formed and one 7 rai plot was held back to accommodate the Angthong Hills apartment project. In the first 12 months the water system was installed, three phase electrical system and all the internal roads completed. Also completed by the Angthong Hills Project company was a 5 meter wide 1.4km government road complete with drainage linking the site with the main ring road around the island. This has since been donated to the government for public use.
There are five 'million US dollar plus' homes which have already been approved by the government and are now beginning construction with another six villas in the final stages of planning completion.
The Angthong Hills Apartment development is scheduled to start in January next year and is expected to have full completion in early 2008.
As an integral part of the development Angthong Hills has drawn up a strict covenant for all purchasers of the land and apartments. This covenant ensures the integrity of the development is maintained and the residents are equally protected.
The title deed is Chanote. The land is 100% owned by the Angthong Hills Company Limited which is made up of private share holders and is unencumbered by any debts, mortgages or loans. All views are protected and unobstructed.

In less than one year Angthong Hills completed full infrastructure for the site including three phase electrical supply, mains water supply, a 1.4 km long main access road to the islands ring road and five meter wide internal roads.
